My wife and I hit a few tot lots today. I found the brass knuckles in the same tot lot that I found two knives in earlier this season. Maybe we should pick a better part of town to detect.

I find a lot of knives in the lots I hit as well as razor blades and syringes. No neighborhood is safe anymore.

I love those knucks!

I have a really old one that has PAIN carved into the knuckle flats...backwards...
They were old and well worn when I got them in 1989.

Nice chunk of brass, weight to recycle and make a couple dollars!! I've got a few knives and other things from playgrounds, good or bad areas you'd be surprised!!

Is your tot lot on the grounds of San Quentin?

Some kid stashed those knuckles to bash some other kid at a later date. He is going to be steaming mad when he realizes they are not where he stashed them. >:( >:( >:(

They are probably packing the heat just the diapers are helping to hold them in.

Somehow find brass knuckles in a area like that is not too surprising nowadays. I found mine in the middle of nowhere on an old 18th century stagecoach road. Never know what you will find - anywhere - :o

Maybe we should take those brass nucks, knives, & syringes etc. etc. to the Principal's office or the

P.T.A. meeting's to show them TH.' MDing is doing more good than harm. What about the parks dept.

or even the Mayor's office. If they were shown enough of this kine of stuff, maybe they would think

twice about baning us. Think about it!

XT18000 has a point. If people knew how much potentially dangerous stuff we pull out of their children's playgrounds maybe they will start to think about the alternative to letting us MD there.

humm while detecting in certain areas those knuckles could be very useful --- want to trade em? Ilike switch blades too. --I know how to use both --rough nieghborhood where I grew up in-- yes the age ten and up kids in my neighborhood would be able to take most grown ups of todays time frame "lunch money" --unless they had a gun to protect them ---mean lil buzzards they were --I had to get tough or die . as I said "bad neighborhood" --- in my "neighborhood" --the dream job was getting to work a high paying but mind numbing , back breaking and spirit killing job at the local car factory for the next 25 to 30 years till retirement --oh yea what a "life"
