I was checking the front yard of an old HS. I got a nice hit and dug up the sod and there was a 1988 hotwheel car. I went on and worked my way over to a tree. while checking all around I got a hit. I thought must be another LM because I had found plenty already. I dug up the sod checked the hole again and nothing, checked the sod and it hit again. I dug in the sod and there it was. A 1937 Merc dime. my first one and silver. All the way home I kepted saying "yes yes yes"

Way to go man. Getting your first silver is exciting. I still remeber my first silver with my dfx 4 years ago. I was hitting a apartment complex one of my uncle's own's. Had a really small back yard. If you wanted to call it a yard. I was digging some clad and out popped a 50 roosevelt. Now a few hundred silvers later they still never get old.

Keep up the good work. The rest all seem to come alot easier.

Nice find. My first silver find was a 1919 Mercury. I know the feeling.
