Hey guys! I broke my clad record this morning for the 3 hour hunt! I first checked out a baseball field at Mercer Island and it kept up giving quarters and dimes! I was getting all the good signals. Got some pennies too! :) My clad total was $2.43. Now I thought after hunting for 2 hours then I would try my grandma's back yard that was close to the baseball field in Mercer Island. Mercer Island is a very old place from the fifties so I knew my grandma would have one good coin in her backyard. Man I was right! As soon as I got back there I got a signal that seemed 2 inches to 3 inches down and out pops a 1958 wheat cent! I could actually read the date! It was the best wheat cent that I had gotten so far!! :) For the rest of the hour I found nothing but trash.

We have all seen pictures of clad and wheat pennies. Thought I would share my story with all of you! :)

Hope you all got out and metal detected this morning on this lovely sunny day! Even though it turned foggy by the afternoon.
