The owner coined the phrase "the ruins" so I adopted it for this dig. thrillatahunt (rick) has been helping tremendously on this dig and its not at all like the last one, Pretty slim pickins. but some good finds have surfaced. This weekend though was pretty discouraging and after about 7 hrs digging and 1 1964 dime (lots of clad), I must say I was ready to go detecting somewhere else for awhile. We got 3 clay marbles and some intresting finds, but Its been tough and its been HOT.
Went back this am and went till the shade left me, about 3 hrs. Got some marbles and a wheat.
Im gonna press on slowly till its done as there is no hurry.
Wish me stuff.
Heres some pics
