My brother and I started out the day at a local elementary school and found a nice chunk of change, the seattle crush penny, and the british 20 pence coin. We then went and hit our old faithful field and found some pretty cool stuff. My brother found the 1949 s rosie, and a wheatie. I found the 1928 foreign coin and 2 wheaties (1 is a 1915 s!). Does anyone have any idea what the foreign coin is? If I had to take a guess I would say finnish or something but I have no idea. Any input is very appreciated. Anyways we had another solid day, and HH to all

Neat finds.

I think it is very cool that you can go detecting with your brother. When I was young, my older brother Tim and I went detecting together all the time. We only had one detector, though, so he did the detecting and I was the digger. I got real good at digging over that stretch of years - used a Ka-bar knife to dig with. Man did we ever have fun together. I'll never forget finding a walking liberty half dollar together right under the surface of the grass at our local high school, or the mercury head dime we found out in the woods at what our neighbor told us was an old ghost town.

Cherish every moment you have detecting with your brother.
