I found a nugget! At least I THINK it's a silver nugget!

This isn't typical treasure hunting...LOL

I bought a bag full of seashells for 99 cents from a Goodwill store & this was inside the bag!

It's magnificent!

It's all drippy and swoopy looking with a few reddish stones in it.

How can I tell where this nugget came from?

It weighs 1.4 oz on my postal scale

about 3" at longest part & 3" at widest part and a tad over 1" tal

I am absolutely THRILLED!
I've never found anything as nice as this!l

Awesome! I don't have any idea where it could have come from. Are the stones jewelry quality, or like rough rocks?

I can't say whether it is or isn't, but I would like to know! I found something very similar while digging, thought nothing of it, and gave it to my son who had asked for it. Hmmm...

Most stuff like that that you find in the ground is solder.

I was going to say Solder also MXT_UP! But if it's not, take it to a pawn shop they have testers most of the time.

Keep hunting and HH!!

The stones that are embedded in this are reddish-brown in color.
They look like rough.

The best I've ever found digging was some wheat pennies and some mercury dimes...
And to think , I didn't even have to dig for this!

I'm giggling my head off over this

Excellent suggestion! Much better to let them test it than to try & acid test it myself.
I just LOVE finding stuff...digging, thrifting garbage picking...it's not romantic, but it's me!

Taking it to a pawn shop may cost $20-$30 unless you know the people or they are nice. Hope it test positive for platinum or silvers cool too. Please let us know what it tests as.

Please look at the silver and Platinum nuggets bellow!

keep at it and HH!!

Yep, that is neat! Way better than the aluminum puddles I find in burn pits. And yes, V, it is kinda romantic... ;D

Some silvery slag in a Goodwill bag,

So shiny and bright and randomly right,

Not "detected" at all, but selected ALL RIGHT!
