Hello All,

I thought some of you might enjoy seeing this. It was found recently by Iron Brigade member Rodeo Recon. It has taken a while to piece some of it back together and get it all cleaned. I think it's pretty danged cool find. (I've certainly never found one--and will likely never find one that has most of the pieces there!)

I think some of the smaller pieces were wall sconces--but the big pieces obviously had several flames with knobs to adjust their levels.

We racked up on the coins at this site--and this find, as well as some others, attests to the wealth of the family that lived there in the brick home that is now a soybean field. The chandelier pieces were found in the edge of the field, and were scattered about within a fairly confined area.

Regards,

Buckleboy

That is a really cool find. It's great that you were able to partially piece it back together. Congrats to Rodeo Recon.

Yep. I think that's what you have there. Did it come from the site of an old house? If so, check the area well--since these were pretty darned expensive luxury items back in the day...

Man I want to get out so bad! You guys are killing me with all these finds. I got the "itch" bad! I get my neck cut on in 2 weeks then I will be on the road to recovery and you better watch out! I got a lot of catching up to do and sure I can do it in a hunt or two.
