Today's find from the beach

Went to my local beach this morning for almost 2 hours. Obviously my competition had been there recently due to the lack of new clad and the holes he left, but he did manage to leave this behind for me. Took the Shadow X2 today. Giving my X5 alittle break.

Nice find. I found one very similar while in Florida before the storm. When will some people learn that no matter where we go, we've got to fill all holes!!!! Good luck and find more.

Hiya Rae. I normally do use the X5, but just decided to take the X2 today. Have'nt used it in awhile. The X5 or the X2 is alittle chattery in the wetsand. This ring was found at the line where the drysand meets the wetsand.
Take care, Mike

Mike, relic hunting season is coming very soon! Are you and your buddies going to hit the fields of New Jersey again?

that's a great looking ring, is the stone a topaz?
I'm not sure but it appears to be topaz.
Thanks, Mike

Absolutely. We can't wait. Actually my buddy George and I hit a old site yesterday. No coins but a few flat buttons, two 4 holers, skeleton key and some other doodads. Not much but felt good to be back hunting the fields. Anticipating the harvest.
Take care, Mike
