Re: 13th-14th Century GOLD Stirrup Ring

Is it stamped "gold"? Kidding. That is one beautiful ring, so often we think that we are the originators of various methods of craft making. The way the stone is set into the gold is fantastic. Nice that you found the farmers ring, you each get one!

Beautiful ring, hope you find more. :P

I'm still waiting for the farmers to start their harvest.
Det vi vet er så uendelig lite mot det som har hendt. Arkeologen er som den som går langs en strand og finner småtterier, skyllet i land fra et forsvunnet skib. Men selve skibet som gikk i dypet med menneskene får han aldri se.

Re: 13th-14th Century GOLD Stirrup Ring

An average bloke would not have had a ring like that, would they? That had to have belonged to some type of rich or important person of the time. Could you speculate? I'm just blown away by that ring, that is so awesome!! Was that like pre King James time? I'm skinning my ignorance, somebody jump in here.

    Beautiful,
