10 man hours effort, however Cru'Dad did 6.5 of these. Although I was rewarded with the nice hammered it was down to Dads slog which got me into the better area. Good team work as normal.

5 Scrappies today - pretty good total
Hammered Penny of Edward I (1279-1307), common London mint however its a good conditioned coin for a change :)
Nice 17-18th century button
Heart watch winder piece
Jetton
3 lead tokens
and bits...

This maybe the last of this field as we will look at new land this weekend ???

Crusader,

You are scoring Hammered silver with increasing frequency :o Cheers!

That one is a beauty. And I think that floral button is a little gem as well.

Regards,

Its a 16-17th century box stud. The hole was added later & the back has a single pin (nail like).

Nice Eddy....any signs of ploughing yet .

This field has been ploughed & planted with rape already. Some of our fields have been chisel ploughed but too rough to try.

They are taking in more wheat as its at 16% moister content & also the bean crop (but you know the storks on that!)
