174(2or7) George II, Counterfeit British Half Penny, and a SHOT copper disc +

Went back to the Vermont copper spot today with my brother and sister. My brother found the counterfeit British Half Penny(musta made this one outa Iron)LOL and shot copper disc, while my sister Kim,( on her very first hunt no less), found the King George II 174? Half Penny. This is our oldest dated coin so far. I can see the first 3 numbers in the date under magnification. I also found what appears to be a Militia Cap Plate. I have it on the "what is it" site, but if some one sees it here and can ID please do so. One person said it was a Vermont Militia Cap Plate, circa 1800-1815. Would like some help with this one. Sounds like an awesome spot you're hunting. I was able to turn up 9 more large coppers at the same site I found my Vermontensium at last year, as well as about 60 buttons. I hope that spot produces similarly for you. With finds like that, I think it will. Best of luck. I cant wait for the final cleaned pics of the Vermont.
