Lake Osoyoos Beach Hunt
Osoyoos State park ranger finally allowed metal detecting on swim beach area here in eastern Washington this week so I hit the beach on Tuesday. Finds included normal beach junk; bottle caps, pull-tabs, inner tube valve, and tack. Two Canadian pennies, costume jewelry; Tear Drop and Star with chains; star chain is stamped 'Korea' at clasp, and one plastic heart. And one tarnished silver ring with a weight of 0.4 grams.
Thanks for looking.

Wow! That name sure caught my attention, 49er!
Osoyoos...
Well great! You finally got in, and are accepted now... looks like it's a very well producing location.
Stay with it, and head ot into the water before it gets cold cold!

Thanks for the comments gang. Yes, quite a few Canadian coins on this side of the boarder. Park hunted is just over boarder and lake covers both US and Canada. Not sure what you mean rmptr on getting in and being accepted. Can you emphasize more on your statement.

That's what I was referring to, 49er...
Apparently, MD had not been acceptable, then it was...
...Now that your activity is acceptable, and he can see you are a good guy,
Get in as much time as you can there...
They usually are very happy if you show them how much junk, trash, and actually dangerous things we remove from the public areas.
Then, we are welcome recreational users, at any time!
Hope that clarifies for you what I meant.
