"Seated Q" & 1842-43 Dragoon Company letter today!

FINALLY got out for 3 hours this PM!
Was walking accross the field to get to a small 1842-43 Dragoon camp when I got the 1873 Seated Quarter. (must have been a farmer drop)
Got to the camp site & found a couple of Dragoon size musket balls first & then found the cast brass "F" Company letter! My first Dragoon one!!
No buttons today, just some "camp" lead & a small brass "D" shape buckle...... but I'm happy!!
I usually "straighten" stuff, but don't think I'll try this!

You're right--I wouldn't try to straighten something as paper thin as a company letter either. Suspender clips are one thing, but these are soooo fragile...
