Probably as many or more.
It would be a hard decision (turning it in)for anyone to make
given today's economic status.
If I had to decide if my kids would go hungry if I did turn it in
or not if I did not---sorry I believe I could justify my inner voice
and not turn any in.

I would tend to take the high ground in this situation and believe that it is a religious matter. I would toss the money to the heavens, if god decides to return it then fine; if not, I'll keep what's left :laughing9:

My take on it . What stays up is his , what comes back down is mine :hello2:
If nothing returns to the floor I will immediately drop to my knees and begin mending my ways .

I can't help but wonder ; with all the NEWS stories about found money along the highway in bags or backpacks that folks have turned in , how many stashes have been found by folks not foolish enough to turn them in ?
It boggles my mind ,turning in a large amount of found cash.... :dontknow:

Seven out of ten voices in my head tell me to keep it.

Majority rules. Of course your jealous that the voices in my head only talk to me.

I actually think it is another part of the stimulus package. Random bundles of cash are distributed throughout the US for us to spend and why not? We keep printing additional paper with nothing to back it, it's like Cheetos's, "eat em, we'll make more later". :laughing9:

I would not turn it in. I would take it home and put it in a pillow case. Wash it on gentle and dry it...Wait until the heat is off a bit and spend it slowly.....very slowly.

I found that you shouldn't use laundry soap...screws with the intensity of the ink...

Also, Mickey D's doesn't like anything larger that a $20 :laughing7:

When I find myself in this awkward circumstance I will gladly let you all know what the voices tell me to do, but I must wait till the circumstance presents itself.

Yes, the voices rule....

That would be like hitting the lottery with no one know it. the voices would tell me to take it home and use it wisely. Why would anyone turn in money tha had no name on it. Now if it was in a wallet with a name I would contact the owner. It just like finding a class ring if I can find the owner I return it. If I can not find the owner I cash it in. I have return 4 class rings and cash in 2 in the 25 yrs plus that I have been detecting......Matt

I found a few hundred bucks in a purse with some ID, credit cards, a check book...so I returned it. The lady tried to repay me by giving me a fifty buck gift card to Red Lobster, so I gave it to a friend to take his wife out to dinner.

Doing good should be its own reward, after all. Cash with no ID? Casino time, baby.

If and when you find or dig a treasure, would you give it back to its rightful owner?
