Yeah she does look a bit like that, the coin has a weak strike on the portrait side outherwise I would have graded it vf

Yeah she does look a bit like that, the coin has a weak strike on the portrait side  outherwise I would have graded it vf 
Funny thing is, I just looked at mine & it has a crease mark in the same place at the same angle & it about the same condition. Mines a 'Lis' mintmark, can you see yours?

I think mines 2492 in book (pomegranate) yours must be 2508

I do not remember seeing any Mary coins found, I looked at the picture before I read the post and also thought it is probably somewhat rare. Beautiful bust of Mary, before little sister Elizabeth had it cut off! The Tudor period really stands out in history, maybe because it was the first realm after the medieval period. Henry the VIII was really a tyrant, glad I didn't work for him, LOL. HH, Mike
