Silver, Wheats, and a few buttons. Need ID help on both

    Hello everyone

Got out today in near record high temps here in central Ohio. 85 is nice. Got sun burnt while detecting and hunting for mushrooms. Found about 3 dozen morals. Black tops and a few greys. Frying them as I write this . Anyways, on to todays finds. Found a few old Wheat's, another worn merc and a few buttons. The one with the makers Mark is readable and about the size of a dime and flat. The other one is a military button......... How old? I don't know. Also found a 1947 nickle, a 1963 Canadian Penny, some kind of rifle shell. Appreciate any help with either one. Thanks for looking, Ron

Nice job again, Ron, on finding the oldies!!

Not sure about your first button, but I believe your second button looks like a Great Seal button....post 1902 era.

Thanks Dan. Looks like it but the makers mark on the back might narrow it down to a specific time

Thanks IS. By it being a Liebmann kind of narrows it down to WW1

Super hunting, CJ~ Last month while hunting in the woods, I noticed a lot of morels growing. I've never eaten them, so I left 'em. I would assume they're long gone for the season by now around here.
