    Back from Europe

    Hi Guys,
Recently came back from my annual trip from Europe. I think i did pretty good.Managed to dug up a Byzantine gold solidus, (Flavius Mauricius Tiberius 582-608) A handfull of roman bronze, 3 Denarii, 3 antoniani, some hammered silver, buckles, roman keyring, some bronze age bits, and arrow heads. Here is some pictures, enjoy .

    Re: Back from Europe

You did good. Looks like what I usually find here in Italy, minus the gold, Roman, Byzantine, and bronze age bits, of course. Europe is fantastic for us diggers. I have to check if my machine is working if I don't get a signal in three minutes. Okay, they aren't all keepers, but at least they aren't pull tabs. Been mostly in the forest, so some holes are half hour affairs dealing with roots, rocks, and worms.

    CONGRATS.

Roman Gold Coin has now moved up to Wish List No.3, its near on impossible to get from the Roman sites we found, but maybe one day

What sort of site was it, the Roman Silver to Gold ratio seems low in my mind. Why a gold from this site?

This is definately a banner find
