what a fun day
I went to the beach to collect driftwood and holi stones. Left the beach after an hour or so and headed to an old funky house surrounded by apple orchards. I spent a few hours there and toted home a bunch of funky iron pieces for my garden art project.
But here are a few of my other finds...and a first for me--an arrowhead...finally!!!! Not sure which tribe/period...but I like it a lot!
The alligator was made in England and copyright is tough to read. The gun is too sweet. And who doesn't embrace mercury silver?! Ohhhh...and the wheat pennies were plentiful as you can see by the photo! Dang!

Yeah Greg and I got out on Sunday. I didn't find to much. Did dig a dime signal and it ended up being a nice Victorian scroll work piece that I will have to get a photo of it and post in the Indiana finds in the upcoming days. I think it is part of a door knob set, but I will have to find out more before I can say for sure.
Later and happy Thanksgiving.

I just stumbled on a GREAT site for Indian camps and their "desire" path. So here's wishing us both a grand 2010 Hunting Season!

Oh I hear ya on the Weiss front. I'm amazed his pompous arse made it this long! I'm LOVIN' the clips that are being shown of one of his first press conferences as head coach where he states that 6-5 is just not good enough...oh man, talk about eatin' your words. I'm sure this Saturday will be his last regular game as ND head coach. Too bad Gruden upped his ESPN contract...sigh.

Re: what a fun day
I heard that on Gruden. I played baseball with him when we were kids. Would have been a good choice, but there may be a clause in his ESPN Contract! I hope so....... jgas
