not sure.....have to do more tests....just found it less than 5 hrs ago......acid test says its good, I am going to have to cut a piece off crush it and throw it in to the blast furnace and do an assay....that will take me some time.....I am wondering the same as well.

Nice. I found a gold seam along a piece of broken bedrock in a stream one time but the gold was paper thin like it had been plated. I also picked up a piece of quartz on C Street in Virginia City that had a decent silver clump and vein going through it. The darkness in the quartz beside the gold might be a silver salt.

Nice chunk, I'd say it would be worth alot more, as a specimen left whole, than it would for only it's gold content.

definantly leave whole do not crush!!!!!!!worth a LOT more as a specimen!!!!!!!!!!!you could name your own price for that one!!!!it is definantly worth way more than the spot price for gold!!!!!!!!!several times over!!!!rock weight too!!!!!!!!there are formulas to figure the gold content!but with that much in matrix is phenominal!!!!!!!!museums would drool!!!and the owner of the nuggett in las vegas would definantly drool!!!i bet he would fly you out free just to see it!!!!
