awesome find! You should check to see if the navy anchor on the medal is gold!

Banner!

I can't believe how sweet that thing turned out to be. When you dug that out, we were both thinking some junk jewelry pin. Awesome to see that it was much, much, more.

Congrats, bud!

WOW Jon!! What are the chances of finding something like this?

Especially around the area you found it. . . seems totally out of character but,
as I'm sure we've all learned, you can always expect to find the unexpected .

Awesome find!

Just out of curiosity, what would the numbers be for at the bottom of the right shell? It appears to be a 1 9 or 1 6?? :icon_scratch: Maybe it was stamped for the number that was given out. Who knows. Or maybe it is soemthing I am just seeing and it is really not there. Nice find though, and I would gather that it is quite rare. Lets see if we can get this verified and get this on the Banner! jgas

I haven't paid that much attention to that as I was too excited. I will check and see if there is actually something on the right shell.

Thanks for the time and research to come up with that. I found some other sites, but not as good as the ones you found.
