First hunt of the old House

We finally had some time to do a little hunting. We went to the old house/shed/barn that I previously posted about and found some pretty neat stuff but nothing too old. The most interesting part of the day for me was going down to the creek and finding some fossils and weird rocks (geodes maybe ) We'll be going back soon.

That is a good hunt. You found some very interesting artifacts and fossils. I just admire the detail on some of that old stuff.

What do you mean nothing too old? Those fossils are millions of years old.

Looks like you got some victorion era finds. I really like the piece with the cherubs.

Hunt that place hard. There's more there.

I like the old bronze jewelry. But what are the round things (not the coins ) that look like rocks or buttons or mushrooms? Good digs! -Noodle

Re: First hunt of the old House

No, no musket balls. I don't think any are Indian artifacts either but I am in Kentucky so I suppose it's possible. I asked the owner of the property what he thought they were and all he said was, "It's a rock" I did find something that looks like a petrified bone but rocks are like clouds, if you look at them long enough they can take the shape of whatever you imagine.
