Silver/Viking silver ring found today
hi people went out today on a ploughed field which was very cold and the ground was very very hard broke my spade after a couple of hours tried my new settings again and after a hour got alot of signals which was a good sign as i have done this field many times. The ring was about 6inchs down, on a ploughed field when i found my rare saxon coin on. the setttings i was on was...
Basic 1
Sensitivity 87.... Freq 11.8... Iron vol 4....Reactivity 2....Silencer 2....Audio Response 2 or 3.....2 Tone tone 1(200) tone 2 (665).... TX power 1 or 2 ....Disc 5.5.

That's a sweet find! What makes you consider it Viking? Is it the style? I know nothing of this type of relic except that it is hella cool!

hi people thanks, the vking/saxons where around 6th century to 10th century so around 1400 to 1000 years ago. the type of ring has been found before and has been record as a saxon/viking style which mainly made of copper/bronze but a few like mine was made of silver! which isnt common

Congrats for finding such a rare ring! It's nearly impossible to get a ring undamaged on ploughed land!

Well, get a good long look at it, 'cause it'll be in analysis and review for about a yea. Maybe you'll get it back, maybe you'll get a few bob for it........
Personally, I'd rather have the ring.
