    *3 COPPER Day!!!*

Got out today to field #1 of many old home sites I recently received permission for. I stopped at this particular field first because the owner said he has plowed up parts of a foundation. Well it wasn't on my 1871 map so I figured I would see what he was talking about. Glad I did!! I was tearing up flat buttons for awhile and got a real deep signal that sounded like a coin on edge. It ended up being a worn out LC. I can't see a date but it looks like its from the 1830s. A little while later I got the screaming 1846 LC on full Dig and capped it off with a 1831 LC about 5 feet from the last one. I only hit about half this site in the 3 hours I had but I will be back there Sunday for sure( tomorrow is fields #2 & 3). That takes me to 6 Coppers this year so far! HH Everyone!!

Thanks! He hasn't made it down here to hunt with me down on my new turf yet. As a matter of fact we haven't hunted together in a couple months. We need to remedy that
