Strip Mining Northern California, One Silver Coin at a time...
Return To The Old Church! Two 100+ Year Old Coins!
Hunted the old church again and scored 4 keepers! In the back grass area dug another mercury dime and 3 wheat pennies.
51 more coins came off the back yard area of the church.
Hunted the front area of the church and dug down 6 inches and found two wheat pennies and a 1905 Indian Head penny in
the same hole! Also on the front grass got another V nickel, this one is a 1903! A 1945-S silver nickel and a few more wheat
pennies toped off the day!

Very nice. The good lord must have been looking down on you.

I agree with Buckleboy. I put the dirt on a cloth. Makes it faster to fill in the hole and leaves no dirt residue on the lawn.
