    1838 anti slave token today

    got an invite to detect an old farmhouse this morning and dug a 1838 anti slavery token. at least thats what i think it is. not much in the way of coins, 3-7/16ths round lead balls too. any body know the best way to clean something like this? what are they made of? for now i will just soad in water. thanks, hh.
