Rare Goldring found
Here is the best goldring i ever found. I only cleaned it with warm water before i gave it to the museum.
I love my Minelab Explorer SE.
Det vi vet er så uendelig lite mot det som har hendt. Arkeologen er som den som går langs en strand og finner småtterier, skyllet i land fra et forsvunnet skib. Men selve skibet som gikk i dypet med menneskene får han aldri se.

If i would sell it- ofcourse i could get alot of money for it, but remember one very very important thing- not everything is about money. In a museum everyone can see it, forever...

That's an important find. I'd love to find something historically important enough to be a museum piece. Congrats!

This is the right attitude, we need more people like this. How do your Laws on detecting work?
I record things properly for study but lend stuff to the Museum instead of donating. If I gave it to the Museum I couldn't use it for other displays, when I wanted.

my father mad a rare donation to a museum in alaska,
when i went to it as an adult the item was gone and they didnt even know who he was.
Jerks
ill never make a donation of an item to a museum ever ever.
they will be lucky to get a loan.

You know you could have sold it to the museums, they buy things too. That's a very good gesture for you to just give it to them. Remember this is coming from someone without any money...

this guy should be given a medal for giving it to the people in a museum if only all detectorists were like you it would be a far better place god will bless you with greater finds RESPECT 8)

That is a oustanding find,I probaly would have sold it (being poor and all) but you did a great thing!!!, and Though I'm extremly jealous Im happy for you. I love my Minelabe SE also.
