Re: Seated Wilver!!!
That is a hard act to follow on finding the first silver.
Way to go. "CC" mints marks always seem so special for some reason.
Congrats

Great find, especially for your first!
A gentleman farmer named Floyd
With some of his kin was annoyed
The boys in their youth
Did not know the truth
And one of his tools was destroyed

Id do the baking soda and water on it, lightly rubbing it. I have got 2 1876 CC dimes myself, One was my first seated coin found I remmeber diging it and thinking "is this waht a seated coin looks like" I had heard of em but never found one.

Re: Seated Wilver!!!
I'd be awfully careful cleaning that. An 1876-CC quarter is worth a goodly sum, even if you're not going to sell it. And yours looks to have a lot of nice detail. Great find, by the way!
Now if it had been an 1876-CC 20-Cent piece, you'd be retired by now.. boo-coo thousands.

Re: Seated Wilver!!!
Great find. Some EZ coin cleaner will lift that right off without harming the coin. Just don't leave it in the solution for more than 15 seconds. Keep on diggin'

Re: Seated Wilver!!!
Nice find,
Seated coins are rare to find. But a quarter is even rarer. I've got alot of barber quarters and seated dimes but no seated quarter yet.
