Re: What To Doo With Those Keeper Rings?
I took some gold to a goldsmith and had a nice ring and a pair of earrings made for my wife. The rest, if you have a lot of weight might be worth selling as scrap gold. Nice finds and HH, Mike

Re: What To Doo With Those Keeper Rings?
I keep mine in ring display cases and once a year I let family go thru and pick a ring that they would like. Wife gets first choice!!!!! I have never sold a ring but have returned many over the years.

What a nice collection. Are you a beach hunter? What type of detector do you use?

Re: What To Doo With Those Keeper Rings?
Keep them. Gold is still holding and they would look great in a Treasure Chest.
HH and Good Luck.

Re: What To Doo With Those Keeper Rings?
Bobby,
You're killing me! I couldn't even spell out the letter "B" with my jewelry finds.
You lucky dog.
Oh, I almost forgot. When I was at the 1830's CW house yesterday, I strolled across the street and talked to an older gentleman that was on his front porch. He told me he used to detect years ago. I asked him what brand he used, and he went in and brought it out to show me. It reminded me of something like yours. It was an old Garrett , curved handle, and looked to be possibly from the early 80's? I think it was a Freedom Coin something. Does that sound familiar?

Re: What To Doo With Those Keeper Rings?
I sell all of my gold twice a year. I don't keep any around the house anymore. At one time I had several hundred rings and things but sold everything off when my hunting partner got his house broken into and lost all of his gold and coins. If I have to keep it in the bank, what is the use of keeping it, you can't show it to anyone without tripping back and forth to the bank. I sell to some people locally and on e-bay. Just think how sick it would make you feel if you lost all of your finds. Just my opinion. Keep on diggin.
