I had an awesome day.
Bob and I`s first stop was a little north of Chavis Park in Raleigh where i found what i think is a
buckle.
Plus more brass and lead.
Any ideas on its age or how to straighten
Our second stop was back to Dorthea Dix where i snagged this 1942 Quarter. Yippee
Plus toys and clad.
My last find was at the recycling dumpsters where i found these 3 bottles of Wine.
A CW BUCKLE!!!! You dog you.
Bill, that's a great find! You go from aluminum cans to CW buckles. Hopefully you can get er' straightened out. I don't think I would even try though. I'd be a fraid of snapping it in half.
AWESOME!!!
Congrats on the SILVER too. Did you leave Bob anything?

Thanks GL i starred at that page for almost a half an hour trying to get an exact match.
no such luck, but very close on most of them so i`m guessing it dates around 1851.
If it is cast it will impossible to straighten.
It`s amazing that this one got bent up this much without breaking.
Thanks Allen for finding my typo. / Wishfull thinking i guess.
Thanks everyone for looking and you replies.
Bob found some wheats and clad but left me his aluminum and copper.
Thanks Bob for the recyclables ( And your company).
