this was in our local paper today thought I would share it with you ..................Some people are angry that Arizona wants to protect its borders and make it more difficult to sneak in here illegally and stay indefinitely.

Let me see if I correctly understand the thinking behind this.

Let’s say that I break into your house and when you discover me in your house, you insist that I leave. I say, “No, I like it here. It’s better than my house. I’ve made all the beds, washed the dishes, did the laundry and swept the floors. I’ve done all the things you don’t like to do. I’m hard working and honest (except that I broke into your house).”

According to the protesters: You are required to feed me. You are required to add me to your family’s insurance plan. You are required to educate my kids. You are required to provide other benefits to me and my family. My husband will do all your yard work because he is hard-working and honest, except for that breaking-in point.

If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim my right to be there.

It’s only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and I’m just trying to better myself. I’m a hard-working and honest person, except for, well, you know, I did break into your house. And, what a deal for me!

I live in your house, contributing only a fraction of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of cold, uncaring, selfish, prejudiced and bigoted behavior.
Oh, yeah, I demand that you learn my language so you can communicate with me.

in florida --i find a "uninvited"someone in my house -- i will shoot them --beds made ,dishes washed or not. --only those I ask in are allowed into my home or on my land . -- so unless your a cop with a valid warrant , or unless i "ask" or invite you onto "MY LAND" that i pay the taxes upon to be able to control access to it, best stay on the outside of the my "fence". --if outside of "my house" yet still on my land , you will be asked to leave at gun point and told not to return -- i 'm very serious about MY PROPERTY RIGHTS THAT I PAY TAXES FOR.

ps you never OWN land in america --since you must always pay land taxes upon it year after year or lose it --you are only in effect "renting" it cheaply from the govt -- so the "govt" really owns all the land .

Well let's see, you broke into my house so 'Make My Day' does allow me to kill you, but I probably will just escort you out. Depends on the mood I'm in that day. But if you can clean the house and do all that, we might work somethin out. I would like for someone to tell me how to get this free health care and not pay taxes. I guess technically my wife and some of her family are illegal. We have a lawyer, we have papers filed, and we're not gettin this free medical care. And they're payin taxes. (Tax ID number, check it out) She went to the dentist last week and I paid $600. We don't have nothin to do with the amnesty crowd. My stepson got a hearing and got sent back to Mexico. Two years later he came back, legally. So there is a legal path to citizenship, it's tough, and it takes awhile, but that's what we got. (A lot of those folks you see in the protests are American citizens, they're just in there stirring it up)

The way I deter potential unwelcome guests to my home is a 140 pound German Shephard, known as Max and my NRA sticker on my front door. If they still want to try it - well, lets just say it's not like I didn't warn them...
