Diogenes of Sinope was once asked, "What is the best time to have supper?"

He said, "If you're rich, anytime you wish. If you're poor, anytime you can."

Being poor is bringing your lunch to school wrapped in an old newspaper...

Poverty to having no lunch to bring to school and not being able to afford even a day old newspaper
The more one learns the more he understands his ignorance. I am simply an ignor ant man trying to lessen his ignorance

    Re: poverty

There are so many types of poverty and the saddest of all to me is to be poor in spirit. A person can have many, many challenges in life that can just rock them to the very core but when that spirit is set and solid in hope, then tomorrow can always change no matter how things look. Each day you wake up is a new beginning.
