There is a Virginia trade token book by David Schenkman, but I don't have a copy to see what it says (if anything) about this one. The book is tough to get.

I have a copy of the Virginia token book and this token is listed. It says that this was a general store during the early 1900s. In the 1930s they were canners of tomatoes and green beans. The tokens were probably used during this period. It has a catalog value of $3-5 but the book was published in 1980 so I'm sure it is worth more today.
