Issued by Merita Bread in 1959, in conjunction with the U.S. Treasury Dept., in a program to promote savings bonds. Not too common. Valued at $40 in Good condition, and $75 in Fine condition, according to Hake's Price Guide to Character Toys (1998).

darn it, why can,t i find token,s in that good of shape :'( mine is allways got crud or rust on them. but I'm cleaning some up :) with peroxide and lemon juice.
