Gross' U. S. Pool & Billiard Tokens book does not list it, but I think his policy was to list only tokens with the word "pool" or "billiard" in the merchant's name, not as a manufacturer. Brunswick, Pick, and other manufacturers of this era typically made tokens with only a name or initials (mavericks) and they have proven very difficult to attribute.

The BBC-3b reverse would indicate the token was probably struck in the 1895-1905 time period. While this is by no means a solid attribution, there was a Chris Beckman listed in the 1900 Dun as operating a saloon in Conneaut, OH.

look up these item numbers on ebay. very similar to yours. it's about the token not the shape, size... it's the rarity of the merchant, the size of the town, and like idahotokens says mavericks are less interest than tokens with town, state on them

Item number: 200473584376
Item number: 320534208771
Item number: 300427629358
Item number: 130391065799

Attributed to George Beckman General Store 1889, Helena Minnesota on the TokenCatalog site.

Low confidence on the Helena attribution... Token was manufactured in Cincinnati, and an attribution to Ohio, or neighboring state would be more likely. Believe this token dates to the late 1880's, or early 1890's.
