Got old dog tags?

I found an old homestead on a plat map from 1880, the house itself is gone.
The hunt was on!
It took about an hour to find the house but I don’t think it has been hunted.
I was not sure if this was a Dog tag, Thank You Oddcoins for letting me know it is a Dog Tag. 1917 marked # 7 from Oceana County, Greenwood Township, Michigan.

This Dog Tag I dug about 5 years ago.
I put this tag in a box with some other stuff and put the box on a shelf.
It was easier to find it the first time, to many boxes!!!
Newaygo County, Lincoln Township, Michigan.
It is Dated 1901 and is tag number 19

WOW ~ that is so COOL!!!! With this find you currently have the oldest known tag issued for that town! The previous oldest known tag from there was 1917.

This is Cape Girardeau Missouri, right? NICE FIND!!! The book has 1910 as the oldest known for that town ~ so now you own the current oldest known tag for Cape Girardeau!

Here is the other dog tax I found a while back.Rochester,MN. and Blaine,Mn.

There both about the same size.1 1/8 in.
