pchange, sorry just seeing this. J B Williams had a mercantile store at Elizabethtown, NM.

E-Town was a gold camp for miners begining in late 1860's. A friend and I have hunted there with permission
over the last 20 years. The Palace Saloon token is likewise aluminum. I found one and my friend found several.
They are valuable in good condition but mine was severely pitted.

Do you have any D-Tex detectors you would like to sell. My friend found his tokens with a D-Tex Coinshooter.
His detector lasted for 30 years but is losing the battle with age. Mine is a later model BFO from the 70's and
is still working.

All the best

I have to make a correction on my last post. I called my hunting buddy in Arizona about the Williams
token. He said he found a J W Williams token, not J B. It had the name of town and "Good for 12/half
on the back. Sorry for the error.
