    2001 volunteer token

Found this in my old house as we were moving to our new one. It reads on the face international association for volunteer effort - IAVE. Obverse reads international year of volunteers - 2001

I have scoured the internet to no avail.
Went to my local coin shop and they had no idea.

Does this have any value? What is its composition?

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

Yeah that's what I gathered from google as well. Strange to me that this particular token didn't show up anywhere as it appears to be quote nice. And in my opinion very beautiful.
