Found thid token many years ago in an old, abandoned house in Southern California. It's very light so I'm figuring aluminum. I have since lost this token somewhere in my piles of junk but I'm sure I have it somewhere. :) That's why I don't have a pic of the back. I may have posted this on here a long time ago, can't remember. The token isn't the only old thing around here. Don't really care about value but was wondering about history. Any ideas?

The motto of the Junior Republic is Nothing Without Labor.
The United States Currency is the money in use in the Junior Republic. There is also a token money, aluminum, which is used in certain cases, in such instances the token currency is at par value with the U. S. Currency.

I knew I had posted this earlier. Thanks Mack! I wonder if it has any value other than it's aluminum? :)
I posted it in that site you suggested but it said that was an experimental site.

The guy that runs that site got back to me and said the token is probably worth in the neighborhood of $25-$50. It's like anything else, you need a buyer that wants it. :)
