Butter--what do you mean, "originated in Ft. Wayne"??? Does that mean it was dug there? Or maybe found in a cigar box?

Harry F. Mayberry was proprietor of Mayberrys Cafe at 1104 Main in Anderson from ca. 1928 into the 1940s. He apparently leased it out and opened a hotel, Mayberry's Grand Hotel, that continued into the 1950s. Either a cafe or a hotel could well have used tokens during that period, quite likely for card games.

It is not listed in Grant's IN list. Photos?

The person I bought it from is from Ft. Wayne. But the token appears to have been dug. I appreciate the info, John! I listed the token as an unknown maverick on tokencatalog.com. That can be changed now. I'll try to get a photo, but all I have to use is my phone and it's hard to get it to come out clearly.
