I recovered a "FREDERICK" trade token (and a neat button) over the weekend and later on did a check on a token database site, but this example was not listed (it is now because I have added it). I'm not sure if Frederick is the location or the business name, but there is a very small town named Frederick, Illinois. It's roughly 50 miles from where the token was recovered. Just curious if anyone has seen anything similar to it. It is the same width as a nickel, and slightly thinner.
Any info on it will be much appreciated.

There was one already listed on tokencatalog.com, but I think the WY attribution is very suspect. Typically, this type of token was issued by a tavern or pool hall and the Frederick was the name of the proprietor. I know of only a very few examples where a single word like that was proven to be a town name. And, on the reason for the WY attribution, general store tokens almost always have more than a single word, plus more than a single 5¢ denomination is typical. For the same reasons, I wouldn't put much stock in the IL attribution you made. The token may well be from around where you found it, but not Frederick.

Thank you, idaho'. I have found several Fredericks in a early 1900s business directory...one being a cigar maker.
