Wonderful find. If you find any information on it please post it. There are a lot of metal identifying tags made but, I have never seen one for stables. I am sure, myself like others, will be interested in the research you find for the tag. When I first saw it I thought baggage tag or hotel key tag. then I read down to the bottom and was surprised. Great find.

Thanks for the good words, man. Only thing like this I've ever found, so I was happy to find it. They were located in Americus, Georgia. In fact, there's a Prince St. named after them not a hundred yards from where I found the tag. Oddly enough,the stables weren't located there but farther into the downtown business area on Cotton Ave. Here's a picture of the family home on College St. All this information was kindly provided to me by the county historian.
