    "LAUNDRY 021" token/tag

I found the token in the attached picture in a park and would like to know
if anyone can tell me what it is. I assume it's issued by a laundry, but there's
nothing identifying what laundry, etc., unless "021" has some secret
laundry meaning I don't know about. The back of the token is blank, smooth.
The US quarter is included for comparison. The size matches pretty exactly,
although the token might be slightly thinner. Thanks in advance for any help.

Maybe a complimentary token for a coin laundry.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

Exactly; managers of apartment projects are usually given the 'perk' of free laundry.
These tokens are returned to the manager after the coin dish was opened by the owner.

    Thanks for the info!
So I assume the number (021) is so the owner can keep track of who
he/she gave the tokens to, maybe to see if someone is selling them
    or something?

Maybe, or to just keep track of how many he gave out.
