Hello!,

I am a member of the ISALC (the International Society of Animal License Collectors). I have been asked to head a new segment in our quarterly newsletter PAWPRINTS that features recently found dog tax tags (dog license tags) by metal detectorsists.

If you are interested in helping get this going PLEASE e-mail me your recent dog tag finds ~ [email protected]

THANKS!
Neil

Any dog tags?
I have a couple. One 2015 and the other seems Old.
Is there a difference between a license and an ID? I assume there is.

I have an 1890's denver dog tax, just need to find whatever box it's stored in. I'll send you the pic when I find it.

I found a dog tag last weekend. I put it on my dogs collar to change his identity.

Hello . . . .yes, there's actually 3 different "dog tags" . . . . . we are more interested in the TAX tag or LICENSE tags that is issued by the local agencies . . . . however, there are also ID tags and there's rabies vaccine tags (we aren't so much interested in those ones).

THANKS!
Neil

Oh yeah ~ VERY COOL FIND!

FYI ~ the oldest known dog tax tag from Olathe KS is dated 1911. There easily could be ones older than 1911, but none have been found or reported yet.

THANKS for sharing!

Neil

Found this while in Olathe KS a while back. Pretty neat seeing it as a fire hydrant.
