Nice token and probably there are other denominations of it out there somewhere. I don't find it listed anywhere, including Wagaman's IN Book or Grant's update in 2008. Are you going to post it on tokencatalog?

After searching more on Google I've found a Laird's Grocery in Huntington Texas (unsure of date), Trenton New Jersey (1915), West Manchester Ohio (1940s), and Tchula Mississippi (1960s). Really surprised to find that many grocers with what I thought was an unusual last name.

Not at all unusual for there to be multiple possibilities for maverick tokens. The 1920 Census would add ones in Spokane, Washington and Ridgely, Maryland to the list. A quick look on a subscription newspaper site adds Coffeyville and Wichita, Kansas, Portland, Oregon, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, and Marion, Ohio. Like one noted maverick token researcher said, "Mavericks are not for the faint of heart."

John, looks like this one may be next to impossible to make a definite attribution. The best possibility may be Rockport, Indiana, which is what is marked on the holder. I bought it with a group of other Indiana tokens from an Indiana dealer. But then again, I collect Indiana tokens, so that's where I WANT it to be from...
