Dug up this Alabama 1 mill luxury tax token recently. It's pretty toasty. The back is mostly legible...the front is wasted (no photo of the front). It was a cool find though :)

Cool find. I dug a Missouri Tax Token 1 mill here in Indiana. Not as bad as shape as yours and it was made of zinc. Maybe yours is to.

Tokens are one of my favorite things to dig up, way more personal than
the average coin. If you are pulling aluminum out of the ground, then your
detector will certainly detect something copper or brass.
