Hey folks!

Anyone know if this is a token, or is it foreign currency?
Dug it up today. It's a bit bigger than a US quarter and the same on both sides. Recognize it?

Thanks, folks!

Seems an odd thing to find @ 7000' on a mountain, and four inches down in mud at the top of a sled run...
Got to love metal detecting. :occasion14:

Correct, also; the game played on a Vegas-like slot machine (using the same type tokens) OR the traditional pachinko machine. The token may have inscribed the name of the 'parlor' where the game is played. 'Winners' get vouchers or some other evidence they won--but not cash since it's illegal to play for cash. Instead, the voucher (or other item) can then be 'redeemed' for cash at a nearby establishment organized for that very purpose.
Don...
