probably issued a company comem and carried as a good luck piece..

Even though this one pops up a lot identified as a token, I don't believe it should be classified as a token. It was used as a "hanger tag" - probably it was hung to the shoe laces of new pairs of shoes from this company. People then tended to keep the piece as a pocket piece which was just what the company wanted - it gave them (and is still doing it) plenty of free advertising. As far as value, it is minimal since there are lots of them around - just keep an eye on eBay if you need more.
