I guess this one is just a maverick. Found in Minneapolis, where there is a Washington Ave, but what city doesn't have one? Both sides are identical.

I see O.W. not O.H. Is it NO or NQ after the AVE? New Orleans? If so, it's a token for a shack! :laughing7:

Correct. O.W. not O.H. I'm sure that is Washington Ave North.

I noticed that too. I guess they're renown for their chicken wings. I tried to research the ownership history online, but, came up empty. You may have to go to the courthouse to do that. There should be property tax records that go back far enough to see if there was an O.W. somewhere in it's history. Maybe old newspapers might have something too. Good Luck!

Good point. Thanks for the kick in the butt. I generally do search the newspaper archives, but I don't think I did for this one.

I did find this... probably unrelated, since it doesn't have anything to do with the initials on the token. This is from the Mpls Journal, 1902, companies that take the newspaper's trading stamps:

Found a couple others that were similar... same address, but no other apparent correlation.
