Check www.woodmen.org or wikipedia for more info on the Woodmen of the World, but it is a semi-fraternal organization that has a major benefit of insurance for its members. Founded in 1890, it is still in business. The token you have is one of their "pocket pieces", similar to a Masonic Penny, that was probably given to a person when they joined and bought insurance. I've seen a number of varieties, both in brass and aluminum. My guess on dating is 1900-1925, but that is just a guess.
