Wasn't sure

if this is the right place for asking, but it is kind of a tool. How do you format your permission slips for hunting on private property? Do you mention a waiver of liability? I have located a coouple of promising places and want to present myself in the best way possible, to up the odds of getting permission. Any tips or directions will be appreciated.

Just go on up to the door and ask with a smile and eeeks!
Stay away from that liability talk!
I wouldn't have them sign anything unless it's a sensitive site.
Historic, etc..
Just tell them this is a hobby that you enjoy. Reassure them you don't make a mess.
Keep it simple
